Warwick

The subway connecting platforms 1 and 2 at Warwick station has reopened following work to prepare for lifts being installed. Access to both platforms is now from the main station building side of the station (the west / town side). Access via the steps from the Woodcote Road / Lakin Road side of the station is closed until the end of September while building works continue. Please follow the signposted walking route diversion from the Warwick Hospital side of the station, which will take between 7-9 minutes. Please allow plenty of time to catch your train.

Step free access is unavailable between platform 2 and the exit at Warwick station. If it helps with your journey, Chiltern Railways can arrange a taxi for you from Leamington Spa or Warwick Parkway where step-free access is available. Please speak to a member of staff or use the station help-point to arrange this. If you are able to give 24 hours notice via their assistance line on 03456 005 165, then this will ensure that the taxi is available without delay.
